I became a fan of Vitas at the age of 12, loved watching him play & saw him in person at an exhibition match in Perth. At 14 I wasn't in a good place but turned away from doing a very silly thing by the knowledge that Vitas was making a comeback and so could I. I was later inspired to make a career / life change when he paased away: life is too short. In life he saved me from death and at his death he inspired me to live. How can you thank someone for that? RIP Vitas.
