Esports betting vs sports — bankroll management is different

Esports variance is higher than traditional sports per match. Lower-tier matches can have wildly inconsistent outcomes due to roster swaps, internet issues, player fatigue from grueling schedules.

For bankroll management I treat esports at half the typical bet sizing I'd use for tennis or football. £200 typical sports stake = £100 typical esports stake.

The half-stake rule is sound. I'd also add: only bet esports tournaments you actually watch — without context the variance overwhelms.
