I lived with Vitas Gerulaitis in 1990, after his tennis career but at the turning piont in his life between being a player of the game to being the brilliant businessman and professor.
He was the most intelligent man I ever met in my life. His brain never stopped thinking, he never stopped working, meeting people, living life.
I do believe that there were reasons he never became the "Tiger Woods" of tennis but out of anybody--he possesed that capability and more.
He was a very tender and caring boyfriend, eager to let me shine even when everyone in the room wanted to meet him.
He was romantic, serenading me every morning before breakfast and never forgetting to tell everyone how talented I was.
I never met a more charismatic--yet intrinsically pure person like him.
I miss him a lot from time to time................................. Tara.
